FieldPad is an offline-first iOS app for HVAC and refrigeration technicians. It tracks EPA Section 608 and AIM Act Subpart C compliance, calculates leak rates, manages A2L safety checklists, handles refrigerant cylinder inventory with OCR scanning, and generates professional invoices with digital signatures — all without requiring an internet connection.

Yes. FieldPad is built offline-first. All core features — job management, compliance logging, leak rate calculations, invoicing, OCR scanning, and PDF generation — work without an internet connection. Data syncs automatically via iCloud when connectivity is available.

FieldPad offers a free tier with limits (5 clients, 10 jobs, 10 invoices, 20 compliance logs, 15 OCR scans, 8 PDF generations). FieldPad Pro removes all limits and unlocks features like data export, recurring jobs, business logo on invoices, and unlimited OCR scanning. All existing data remains accessible if you downgrade.

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad to view, modify, or cancel your FieldPad Pro subscription. Your data is never deleted when you cancel — you retain full access to view and edit existing records.

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund for any App Store purchase.

All data is stored locally on your device and synced to your private iCloud container. We do not operate any servers. No data is shared with third parties (except anonymous subscription management via RevenueCat and address autocomplete via Apple MapKit). See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You can delete all data via Settings > Data Management > Delete All Data (requires double confirmation). Individual records can be deleted from their list views. EPA compliance logs within the 3-year retention period are protected per regulatory requirements. To remove iCloud data, go to iOS Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage.

FieldPad supports EPA Section 608 (ODS refrigerants in systems with 50+ lbs of charge) and AIM Act Subpart C (HFC refrigerants with GWP > 53 in systems with 15+ lbs of charge, effective January 1, 2026). It tracks leak rate thresholds, repair deadlines, verification tests, chronic leaker reporting, and inspection schedules for both frameworks.

FieldPad requires iOS 17 or later and runs on iPhone and iPad.
